Editor's UPPAbaby Vista Stroller Review:
The Vista is UPPA's top of the line stroller and has some great features that set it apart from the rest of the luxury stroller pack. You'll appreciate its roominess, height which brings you closer to you little one as well as low maintenance features rubber coated foam tires that never go flat. You'll quickly realize that the Vista was designed for the modern parent who seeks performance and style. The Vista holds it own next to any luxury class stroller with over 5 colors, high tech looking frame and features. Look forward to using your UPPA Vista from birth, with infant car seat adapter, until your child reaches 50lbs, around 4 years of age.
For taller parents, you'll like the one button handlebar height adjustment. If you and your spouse are of different heights and constantly needing to adjust, you'll find this feature very practical. The taller user will also appreciate the frame design which removes the lower bar usually connecting a strollers rear tires. The void of this axle, through frame design, lessens the likelihood of frame kick.
An elevated seat brings your child closer to your walking height, while also allowing for more distance between the bottom of the seat and the bottom of the storage bin. This means tons of storage space coming in very handy for shopping trips. The elevated seat also means less bending down which saves your back. The elevated seat also means your child is further removed from threats like car fumes, rambunctious pets and flying debris. The higher seat also puts your child right at table height, eliminating the need to use a dirty restaurant high chair. It's important to note that this stroller feels a little wider than most strollers in its class and this may take a little getting used to. The seat only adjusts to 3 angles, not including flat. This can be a problem if your child only sleeps lying completely flat.
The UPPA Baby Vista boasts 4 wheel suspension which really takes the edge off small to medium sized bumps and helps insure you child's comfort. Organic baby materials are all the rage and the Vista jumps on the band wagon by manufacturing all materials that touch your baby out of soybean & cotton. This proves to be a very wholesome and hygienic alternative to synthetic fabrics and one more feature that sets the Vista stroller apart from the rest.
The UPPA Vista's aluminum frame folds with one step, literally taking seconds and doesn't require you to remove the seat, a huge difference from the Bugaboo Frog and Bugaboo Cameleon. The sturdy frame offers great responsiveness and allows carrying weights up to 50lbs. The seat can also be positioned rear or forward facing depending on our preference with a few easy clicks. You should note that the UPPA Vista won't allow expansion to carry two children, like the Phil&Teds inline adapter kit. The Vista does have a piggyback option which allows children to stand on a roller mounted platform.great for carrying an older child in addition to the child in the carriage.
The UPPA Baby Vista is a great option for parents looking for an all-terrain stroller they can use from newborn to 50lbs. It's a well designed, great looking stroller that command respect on the streets or the playground. This stroller should not be used for jogging.
