Editor's Quinny Buzz 4 Stroller Review:
The Quinny Buzz 4 is a great option fro parent seeking go-anywhere functionality with style and high-end design features. The Buzz 4 has two wheels in the front which help provide off-road stability over the Buzz 3. The Quinny Buzz strollers are great for taller children. The Buzz stroller's true claim to fame is its memory foam seat as well as its ability to auto unfolds. These added features come with a cost, pushing the all-terrain Quinny Buzz 4 to a chunky 37lb weight or about 10lbs heavier than most comparable all-terrain strollers.
Large air filled rear wheels and solid front wheels are fully suspended offering a plush ride. Front wheels can be locked in forward position if required. Parents will enjoy the adjustable handlebar and forward or rear facing seat. Plan on using the Quinny Buzz 3 from newborn, with infant car seat adapter, to 50lbs. The carrying capacity of the Buzz 4 is greater than the Buzz 3, which only accommodates children up to 33lbs.
The automatic unfolding system is a very cool feature. It requires the user to unlock a latch and slightly pull up on the handlebar, at which point the Buzz 3 takes over. A very cool looking feature and practical when juggling child and other items. Folding requires a little more man power, with the flip of two latches and pushing motion, the Quinny Buzz 3 can be folded with seat attached. The Buzz 4 includes automatic locking once the stroller is folded, a huge addition over the Buzz 3.
Once unfolded an in-use, your child will love the memory foam seat. This is one of the most comfortable seats we've reviewed. The Buzz 4 comes with two seats, one accommodating larger children than the other. With the ability to fully recline and adjust up to 3 positions, it should meet all your needs. The footrest also offers adjustability depending on child height. If you have a taller child, you will benefit from the vertically adjustable canopy, sure to offer plenty of headroom. Canopy also features a picaboo window and two side windows for the occupant. This isn't the largest canopy we've come across, but it proves adequate. While the Quinny stroller does offer an under carriage basket, it is very shallow and offers minimal space. You can purchase the Buzz box which hooks onto stroller frame for additional carrying capacity.
