Editor's Phil and Teds (Phil&Teds) Twin Stroller Review:
The name says it all, the Phil and Teds Twin stroller take all the features of the Classic and creates a side by side doubles stroller. If you like all the features and dependability that the Classic brings to the table, but don't want to make your kids ride in-line with the doubles kit, you will definitely want to check out the Twin stroller from Phil and Teds. Just like the classic, this model is only available in red.
The Twin boasts 4 large, inflatable tires great for getting you over the rough stuff. You get two tires in the front, one more than the classic models which should help with stability and maximum carrying capacity. As a result, combined seat load is an impressive 88lbs. Considering the extra components and capabilities the Twin still comes in at a relatively low weight of only 36lbs. Keep this weight in mind if you're lifting this stroller in and out of large sport utilities or deep trunks.while still keeping an eye on the kids. At this weight class, you're probably not going to want to take this stroller on vacation. If you're looking for a lightweight twin stroller for travel, be sure to check out the Maclaren Twin Techno or Twin Triumph stroller models.
Features you'll be sure to appreciate are the lockable front wheels, 5 point safety harnesses in both seats, rugged steel frame, washable seat pads, independently reclining seats with 3 positions including flat. Individual sun hoods also allow more customizing for each child's preferences or needs. The handle adjusts to multiple positions to accommodate users of all heights. All those features and still able to fit through a standard door opening, the Phil and Teds Twin is a great option for carrying both your little ones side-by-side.
