Dubbed as the Flagship of the McLaren fleet you'll sure to get all the hottest features MacLaren has to offer. Included in the mix above and beyond other models, the Techno XT includes the following:

If you're above 5' 10" tall or your significant other is, you may want to consider stepping up to the Techno XT. By bringing up the height of the handlebars you'll experience much more comfort on those extended trips. Also, extended handlebars will allow extra stride clearance for taller walkers, helping avoid any "Kick Contact" with the stroller. This is a common problem taller stroller user's face and a great way stroller manufactures counter the effect. If you want complete customizability, consider this feature. If this isn't an issue or you can't justify the price, take a look at the Maclaren Volo, Triumph, Quest Sport or Quest Mod.

What can we say, suspension is a great feature. Whether navigating airports or the city streets, anything that can take the edge off your child's trip is well worth it. Don't be fooled though, just because the XT offers suspension doesn't mean this an all-terrain stroller. Shock absorbing ability of the suspension is minimal and only helps dampen the smallest of bumps.

Keep in mind that all additional options including the suspension and extendable handlebars add weight. These features add approximately 2 LBS to the overall weight of the MacLaren XT, not much in our opinion. At the time of this articles publishing, the Techno XT was available in 5 color combinations. You won't find the vibrant color combinations found in other models in the XT, mainly black and grey and variations thereof. If you'd like to spruce up your ride, MacLaren does offer strap pad's (Called Comfort Pack) for the XT, which are available in vibrant color combos as an accessory.
